Product development commenced in 1995 by Barrie Mathews and SoftCo Engineering Systems Inc. was incorporated in British Columbia in 1996. Since then, SoftCo has been a ground breaking industry leader in promoting systems to support the development and management of universal AutoCAD standards for industry. Now in its 7th release, SoftCo has produced 8 industry versions of S-MAN along with 7 individual utility packages.

StanConvert Release 5 is cited as being second to none for automated conversion of AutoCAD drawings to new cad standards.
